About Camino Bursary

Founded by Dominic Pais in 2025 with Dinarte Menezes and Gilberto Martins, the Camino Bursary is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting access to higher education for young South Africans of Portuguese descent. Rooted in the values of resilience, determination, and cultural identity from the Camino pilgrimage, we support deserving youth in their educational journeys.

As a registered Non-Profit Company under South Africa's Companies Act, we operate for public benefit with a focus on transparency, accountability, and community service. Our bursaries cover tuition, books, accommodation, and other educational costs, paid directly to institutions.

We comply with POPIA for data protection and uphold ethical standards to ensure fair governance and operations.
